At this stage, Scrybit is focused on building a robust, compliant non-custodial wallet ecosystem. Scrybit is exploring the possibility of issuing a native token as part of its longer-term vision. This will depend on strategic alignment and compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.
B. Getting Started
Scrybit Wallet is available as a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices.
You can download the app on Play Store for Android devices or on App Store for iOS
users.
Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Search for "Scrybit Wallet".
Download and install the app.
- Open the app on your mobile phone and sign up.
- Enter your email.
- Enter the OTP code sent to your email.
- Enter the required information to create your account.
- Login by entering your email and password. Click sign in.
- Once signed in, you are required to complete the KYC process and pay the
subscription fee before creating a wallet. Upon successful completion of your KYC, a
mail notification will be sent to your email address. - Go to settings, subscribe now and pay the subscription fee and log out.
- Log in and then click on create a new wallet.
- You will be prompted to set a 6-digit password as security code to access your wallet. *1
- A 12-word recovery phrase (‘seed phrase’) will be displayed on the screen.
Manually back-up your wallet by writing down the seed phrase. This phrase is crucial
for restoring your wallet in case of loss or theft. *2
Confirm your unique seed phrase by selecting each word in the correct order.
- Click the “Complete your KYC setup” prompt on your dashboard.
Select ‘Identity document’. - Choose verification documents and take a clear picture of them.
Verify identity. - Proceed to do a face scan selfie.
- Add your proof of address (POA). ( a recent one- last 3 months)
- See guidance on the app of accepted POA documents.
- You shall be updated on the verification status once your KYC has been processed.
- If your KYC verification has failed, you will be prompted to try again.
C. Wallet Setup & Management
Yes, you may import an existing wallet and add it to Scrybit as per the below. But ensure
that your tokens are being supported by Scrybit Wallet.
- Click on “Wallets” on the top part of the homepage
- Click on Add wallet
Select iCloud backup or use your seed phrase from the external wallet. - Choose the backup for the wallet you want to restore
- Create passcode
- Confirm passcode
Option 1:
On your dashboard, at the top right, click on the icon to manage your token list. You can enable the toggle buttons next to the tokens to add them to your dashboard.
Option 2:
On the dashboard, click on “View All” to see all tokens available to monitor or trade. Enable the toggle next to a token to add it to your dashboard.
It is absolutely critical. Your seed phrase is the only way to recover your wallet. Scrybit does NOT store or have access to your seed phrase.
- Write it down and store it securely
- Never share it with anyone
- Avoid saving it digitally unless encrypted
If you lose the seed phrase, you shall lose access to your wallet. Hence, it is very important that you do a back up either through ICloud and/or a manual back up of the seed phrase to be able to access to your wallet.
No. Scrybit Wallet is non-custodial, which means only you have access to your wallet’s private keys and seed phrase. We do not store this information and therefore cannot recover
your assets if you lose your device or seed phrase.
Without the seed phrase, recovery is not possible.

- Select the token
- Share your address with the sender
- You'll be notified once the token is received
- Click ‘send’ on the homepage
- Select the token
- Enter amount
- Review gas fees and confirm *[1]
- Enter recipient wallet address
- Confirm transaction
[1] The gas fee is charged in the native crypto currency of the blockchain/network being used.
- Click “Buy”
- Enter your login credentials
- Select token and amount
- Choose payment option
- Complete KYC (one-time)
- Enter the transaction details
- Confirm, effect payment by card and receive the tokens on your scrybit wallet address.
- Click “Sell”
- Enter amount
- Enter recipient bank details - ‘Bank Account should be on your name’.
- Confirm transaction. You will receive a trade confirmation by email to your registered email address with instructions on how to proceed.
- Upon successful transfer of the assets to our Partner’s Wallet Address.
- Your Bank Account will be credited within 2-5 business days.
The KYC verification on the on/off ramp platform will only be a one-time requirement.
You shall not be required to do this KYC every time you choose to buy or sell coins.
Yes, there is an annual subscription fee of USD 10 to use Scrybit Wallet.
Scrybit Wallet offers off-ramp services in over 150 countries, supported by our regulated on/off ramp partner. This includes both trade and/or payment capabilities, allowing users in eligible jurisdictions to sell crypto and withdraw funds to their local bank account.
The availability of these services depends on the regulatory environment of each country and the user’s compliance status. For the most up-to-date and complete list, please refer to the “Supported Countries” section on our website.

Yes. We are working with partners to enable crypto payments directly from Scrybit Wallet with selected merchants and services.
Yes, but for the 1st two months after launching, no fees will be applicable from Scrybit Wallet. All transaction fees related to the blockchain will need to be paid by the user
Scrybit Wallet is a regulated non-custodial wallet and complies with all the rules and conditions imposed by the Regulator. This is a cost for doing compliant transactions. By complying to these rules, Scrybit provides a safe and compliant platform to all users.
No, but Network fee will be applied by the Blockchain company for doing transfer on its blockchain rail.
